What about paid foreclosure listing services?

Many of our clients have asked about paid services that claim to have foreclosure and preforeclosure listings at huge discounts.

We have tried two of these services in the past and have found that all they provide is either MLS listings of properties that are shown to be “short sales” or “REOs” (the same information that we have here!), or they are listing homes where the owner has received a notice of default - in either case this information is free or public record.
